The Gosnold Arms is a classic Maine inn on New Harbor with a total of 5.56± acres, 218± feet of frontage on the harbor, and very good views of New Harbor and out to Muscongus Bay. The charming pier cottage was originally the Pilot House for the Steamship Authority, welcoming summer visitors arriving by boat from the city. Named after Bartholomew Gosnold, an explorer from the early 1600s who played an important role in establishing trade routes for England, the building has been operated as a beloved inn since 1925, and by the current family since 1978.
